Application:

 

In the UV ultraviolet accelerated aging tester, the fluorescent UV lamps can reproduce the influence of sunlight, condensation and water sprinkler systems reproduce the effects of dew and rain. Although ultraviolet light (UV) accounts for only 5% of sunlight, it is the main illuminating factor for the decline of outdoor durability, because the photochemical reaction of sunlight increases with the decrease of wavelength, therefore, when simulating the damage of sunlight to the physical properties of materials, it is not necessary to reproduce the entire sunlight spectrum, only necessary to simulate short-wave UV light.

 

The reason for using UV lamps is because they are more stable than other tubes and can better reproduce the test results.

 

Adopts fluorescent UV lamps to simulate the effects of light on physical properties, such as brightness reduction, fading, spalling, etc.. UVA-340 is the high-quality choice of simulating sunlight UV.

 

UVA-340 is an excellent simulation of the critical short-wavelength wavelength range of the solar spectrum, that is, the spectrum with a wavelength range of 295 to 360 nm. UVA-340 only produces a spectrum of UV wavelengths that can be found in sunlight.

 

UVB-313 is used for maximum accelerated testing and UVB-313 can quickly provide test results. The short-wavelength UV used is more intense than the UV light waves currently found on the Earth's surface. Although these UV light which is much shorter than the natural wavelength, can accelerate the test to the maximum extent.

 

Exposure method: steam condensation.

After the specified irradiation time, then transfer to the non-irradiated state of the simulated nighttime. At this time, the surface of the sample is still heated by the saturated mixture of hot air and water vapor in the exposed room, and the back side of the sample continues to be subjected to the surrounding space. The air is cooled to form an exposed state of condensation on the surface of the sample.
