Test Purpose:
It is used for switch sockets, surface-mounted installation boxes, contactors, molded case AC air circuit breakers, etc., to verify the impact resistance of exposed parts that may be subjected to mechanical impact during normal use.
Test Principle:
According to the test Eha: the pendulum, the impact element is released freely at a certain height through a 1-meter pendulum, hits the sample at the lowest point in the vertical direction, and through the transformation of gravitational potential energy into kinetic energy, the purpose of impact testing on the sample is achieved.
Structure:
This equipment, also referred to as a low-energy pendulum impact testing apparatus, features a floor-mounted design that requires no fixed installation. The sample mounting fixture offers multi-directional adjustability, including vertical, horizontal, and depth adjustments. Additionally, it allows rotation around both an axis perpendicular to the mounting plate and the vertical axis, providing five degrees of freedom for precise positioning.
The pendulum arm is equipped with an adjustable release angle mechanism via the pivot point, enabling targeted impacts at various positions on the front and sides of the sample. This flexible design fully meets the impact testing requirements for the majority of similar products in the industry.
