Anti-fog polycarbonate films are one side coated to offer long term
anti-fog properties in addition to optical quality, scratch
resistance, impact resistance, and chemical resistance.
Originally intended for medical face shields, these films can
accept commercial ophthalmic dies even at ambient temperatures on
the coated side. Anti-Fog Film provides a permanent Anti-Fog solution and enhances
visibility! This film is a durable, optically clear product with a
premium anti-fog surface coating which prevents fogging up of glass
shower enclosures, mirrors, refrigerator doors or any glass areas
subject to fogging by moisture.
Featuring thinning in 3D forming applications of up to 50%, these
films are now finding their way into IMD applications. Other common
applications include industrial visors and goggles, sunglasses,
sports eyewear, motorcycle visors, mirrors, windows, windshields,
instrument lenses and display panels, appliance fascias, and
telecom lenses.
