Product DescriptionOur PVA sponge dressing is used as a mechanical barrier, for compression& for absorption of exudates & blood in nasal cavity after rhinal operation. The product is packaged in aluminum foil and PE/Permeate paperdouble packages to ensure microbiology barriers.Nasal sponge dressing is made of soft, absorbent and highly retentive polyvinyl alcohol sponge.The sponge will expand quickly when the dressing contacts with blood or fluid. The expanded sponge provides quick and effective control of epistaxis.PVA Sponge, sometimes referred to as Polyvinyl Alcohol (formalized) Sponge, is a high tech plastic foam that has many of the same properties and qualities of a natural sea sponge. Static-free and lint-free, PVA Sponge is hydrophilic with pore sizes from 55% to 95%. All deliver an exceptionally high volume and speed of absorption,actually holding many times the volume of liquid compared to a natural sea sponge or sheep-skin chamois. Elasticity and tensile strength properties helpprovide durability and allow the material to last much longer than other materials. Packaging Certificate
