Double row angular contact ball bearing can bear large radial load mainly radial and axial combined load and torque load, limiting the axial displacement of the two sides of the shaft.

Double row angular contact ball bearing correspond in design to two single row angular contact ball bearings arranged back-to-back, but take up less axial space. They can accommodate radial loads as well as axial loads acting in both directions. They provide stiff bearing arrangements and are able to accommodate tilting moments.

Application

It is mainly used for limiting axial displacement of shaft and shell. The tilting between inner and outer ring of double row angular contact ball bearing is limited, the allowable tilt angle depends on the internal clearance of the bearing, bearing size, internal design and the force and torque acting on the bearing, and the maximum allowable tilt angle should ensure that the bearing will not produce excessive additional stress.

If there is a tilt angle between the inner and outer rings of the bearing, the life of the bearing will be reduced, and the running accuracy of the bearing will be also reduced ,but the running noise will be increased.

Double row angular contact ball bearings generally use nylon cage or brass solid cage.

Although the bearing can bear two-way axial load, if there is a ball loading gap on one side, it should be noted that the main axial load should not pass through the groove side with a gap.When the bearing is used, it should be noted that the raceway on one side without the gap of ball loading should bear the main load.
