This pitcher is beautiful and functional. I like it because its shape is graceful, but has no ribs or sharp corners that collect residue from ice tea and juice. I can fit my hand inside it to scrub the walls. The lid is easy to remove, but secure when it's on the pitcher. It's so much nicer than the refrigerator pitchers from IKEA that I ordered a second one. I got this to make sun tea and serve water for parties. So far, it has been very durable - I've accidentally bumped it up against the sink or the marble counter while filling or washing - cringed, and it has yet to crack! Also, it takes boiling water to make tea just fine. Love the modern, sleek design.
I do wish that there was a way to completely seal the contents, though. Even if you rotate the lid, there's a gap that can allow for evaporation, or in theory small enough insects to get inside. ----By Linken

I’ve had the 60 ounce pitcher for 2 years and it is holding up well. No rust on the steel and no breakage. It is tall and thinner so it does not take up as much fridge shelf space. There is a silicone gasket that is still in good shape that prevents leaks when pouring liquid out. The top has a strain and full pour option and slides in and out easily for washing. I can also fit my hand into the pitcher, making it easy to clean. ----By Seth
