Best purchase ever!! I use this to make flavored water using fresh fruit and herbs like jasmine and hibiscus...finally I’m drinking more water!!! I also use it to make iced coffee. The straining top is fabulous and doesn’t let even tiny coffee grinds through!!!! It’s really pretty. ----By Peggey

I prefer the taste of iced coffee, so I will prepare 12 cups in the coffee maker the night before. I wanted the ability to pour a whole 12 cups to chill it overnight. It works perfectly at fitting the full 12 cups! I do have to wait to pour the hot coffee in, because I'm afraid of the glass shattering. But this pitcher cleans up perfectly, and is as clear as it was the first day I bought it, which is why I chose glass over plastic. ----By Jason

This carafe is so well designed so that you don't have to lift the stopper by using the flip-top lid. Quality, environmental materials -- no plastic. Rubber, steel, glass.
