AEC1-T1 T2 RS485 Modbus RTU Online Conductivity Controller for
Water Quality Monitoring The AEC1-T1 T2 online conductivity controller brings plant-floor conductivity measurement . Equipped with an RS485 interface supporting the standard Modbus RTU protocol, it reports temperature, conductivity, resistivity, TDS and salinity values to PLCs, SCADA systems, data loggers using a clearly documented register map. The instrument acts as a Modbus slave with a default address of 1 and default communication settings of 9600-8-N-1, both configurable from the communication settings menu. Hosts can read measurements using function code 04, with temperature, conductivity, resistivity, TDS and salinity mapped to fixed register addresses in 32-bit floating point (CDAB) format. In addition to the digital link, two active 4~20mA outputs (max. load 1000 Ω) mirror the measured value and temperature for legacy analog loops, and two SPST relays enable direct control of pumps, valves and alarms. Built for continuous duty, the controller supports the full 4-in-1 measurement set, NTC10K/PT1000 automatic or manual temperature compensation, and a 3.2 inch graphic LCD. Its IP66 panel-mount housing and power-failure protection make it a dependable node for municipal and industrial water quality monitoring. Technical Parameters

Applications
FAQ Q1: Which communication protocol does it use? It uses RS485 with the standard Modbus RTU protocol. Q2: How do I read the measured values from my host? Use function code 04 to read the registers for temperature, conductivity, resistivity, TDS and salinity, each stored as 32-bit floating point (CDAB). Q3: Can I connect it to a PLC as well as a recorder? Yes. Use RS485 Modbus RTU for the PLC and the two active 4~20mA outputs for analog recorders. Q4: Can the relays control a dosing pump? Yes, each relay is a SPST contact rated 3A 250V AC, suitable for most pumps, valves and alarms. Q5: Do the communication settings need special software to change? No, the slave address and baud settings are changed directly from the instrument's communication settings menu. Contact Daruifuno for a Modbus register map, integration support or a sample unit
