Side Wall Installation PH Sensor With PT1000 /PT100 Temp. Compensation
The pH value is related to temperature, and the pH electrode gives a measurement result determined by the temperature. So the temperature needs to be recorded and temperature compensated.
Our pH sensor ASP300-TYD05 comes with a PT1000/PT100 temperature compensation unit that can compensate for temperature.
Since each electrode has its characteristic zero point and slope, a minimum two-point calibration is essential for reliable and accurate results. When measuring a wide range of pH values, at least a 3-point calibration is required.
If a temperature probe is not used, make sure to calibrate and measure at the same temperature. Manual temperature entry is required in this case, allowing the meter to correct for the buffer temperature.
