Descriptions
The measuring system of the water quality sonde bromine sensor BR1 is membrane-covered, amperometric 3-electrode system. It is used for the measurement of free bromine as hypobromous acid and BCDMH, also in seawater. The measurands of the bromine sensor water quality sonde is free bromine, 1-bromo-3-chloro-5,5-dimethyl-hydantoin (BCDMH), hypobromous acid HOBr.
The connection of the bromine sensor BR1 is 2-pole terminal, M12 male for mA-version or Modbus RTU with M12 male. The pH range of the bromine probe is 6.5~9.5pH, which greatly reduced pH dependence. The measuring water temperature range is 0~45℃, no ice crystals in the measuring water. The pressure range of the water quality sonde is 0 ~ 0.5 bar, with no pressure surges or fluctuations.

It can be used in the pH range from pH 6.5 to pH 9.5, with highly reduced dependence on pH – value. The material of the sensor is Microporous hydrophilic membrane, PVC, PEEK, stainless steel 1.4571.
In addition, we need to pay attention to the storage of the bromine sensor BR1 water quality sonde, the sensor should be stored in a dry and without electrolyte environment, there is no limit at 5~40 °C. The electrolyte should be stored in the original bottle protected from sunlight at 5 ~ 35 °C, min. 1 year or until the specified EXP-Date.Membrane cap should be stored in original packing no limit at 5 ~ 40 °C,(used membrane caps can not be stored).
