Measuring Principle Of The COD Sensor
Many organic substances dissolved in water absorb ultraviolet light. Therefore, the total amount of organic pollutants in the water can be measured by measuring the degree of absorption of 254nm wavelength ultraviolet light by these organic substances.
The CODuv350 COD sensor uses the UV254 nano-ultraviolet absorption method for measurement, and the measurement process does not require consumables.
The COD probe uses two light sources, 254nm and 550nm, and uses a 550nm compensation light source to effectively eliminate the effects of turbidity and chromaticity, thereby achieving more stable and reliable measurement values.
