Description of Roller Compactor:

Dry Granulator is a new type of efficient granulation equipment, which is widely used in the production of heat and humidity sensitive drugs. The main body and working part are set separately. All parts in contact with materials are easy to be disassembled and cleaned. The application of a variety of advanced technologies greatly improves the scope of materials, the quality of granules and the yield of finished products. All the design and functions of the machine are compliant with cGMP and CFR21 part11.

Key components of dry granulation machine

Feeding system: It consists of an horizontal screw feeder, which ensures continuous, stable, and uniform feeding of material into the compression roller area. It is crucial for maintaining uniform tablet density.

Compaction roller system: This is a core component, which often featuring specific patterns (such as diamond, striped) or a smooth surface, to enhance the grip and alter the tablet pressing characteristics.

Hydraulic system: It provides and precisely controls the substantial pressure applied between the two compaction rollers.

Milling (granulation) system: It consists of a crusher and a milling (granulation) device, which determines the final granule size and distribution.

Control system: Dry granulation machine utilizes PLC & touch screen control. It features precise adjustment of parameters such as feeding speed, roller pressure, roller speed (linear speed), and granulator speed.

Main adjustment parameters: Roller pressure, roller gap, feeding speed, and granulation screen mesh size. These parameters collectively determine the density, strength, output, and granularity of the granules.
