The drum scraper dryer is an internal heating conduction type rotary continuous drying device. The rotating drum is adhered to a film of a thickness through the lower trough, and the heat is transported to the inner wall of the drum through the pipeline, and is conducted to the outer wall of the drum, and then the feed film is transferred, so that the humidity in the film is evaporated and dehumidified. The moisture-containing material is dried. The dried material is scraped off the drum by the scraper attached to the surface of the drum, to the screw conveyor placed under the scraper, and the dry material is concentrated and packaged by the screw conveyor.

Working principle of roller scraper dryer

Drying process: Let the liquid or muddy material form a film on the surface of the drum heated by steam or other heat carriers. The drum is dried in one revolution. The product is scraped off with a scraper, and the exposed surface of the drum comes into contact with the raw material again. And form a film to dry.
The drum scraper dryer uses a certain method to spread the liquid or pasty material on the drum (hollow metal cylinder) with a 0.1-1.5mm film. The drum can be heated with steam, hot water or thermal oil. When the drum rotates once, the material can be dried and scraped off the surface of the cylinder by a special scraper. The drum scraper dryer generally rotates at a speed of 4 to 6 rpm.
The drying of the paste-like material is to adjust the thickness of the material and to compact the material layer. On the side close to the feeding device, a material compression shaft is installed to make the material evenly spread on the drum. In order to make the material easier to fall off when the scraper discharges the material, before the scraping, the cold air pipe can also be used to blow a certain amount of cold air to cool the material.
