Maleic resin is from maleic modified resins partially esterified with polyalcohol,with fast drying and high gloss,used for citrus wax production.

Properties:

Soluble in alcoholic solvents; fast drying and high gloss. They are also used for water-based inks when the alcohol solution is neutralized to PH 7 by amine then is diluted by water to be as water-based resin.

For alcohol soluble intaglio printing inks, varnish and water-based inks.
