Attention of useing Slide Switch

1 Be careful with chemicals

Avoid to be exposed into the strong chemical air of ammonia, amine, alkali solution, hydrocarbon, ketone, ester and halocarbon,etc. Because the base of slide switch contain the synthetic resin like the makrolon etc.

2  Be careful with scaling powder

Avoid to use the Water-soluble Flux when solder, otherwise it will has the negative impact for the metal and other material of slide switch.

3 Tin solder

When design the wiring and solder, please attention the melting tin flow to the PCB, it will be lead to the poor contact

4 The height of knob

When the width A of the slider keep constant, the height is the shorter the better (at least 5mm). The height of knob the shorter the hand feeling the better. And the point out the higher the hand feeling the worse.

5 Drive arm

Be attention the operation point don’t far away from the middle line of knob. As the same reason, the distance of the two parts is the shorter the better
