TALUKON™ Ferrule Aluminum Ferrule, a conical ferrule made for sling application Product Description TALUKON™ is a conical ferrule made for sling application. It has an
inspection hole to ensure the short end of the wire rope is
correctly positioned after pressing. It also has a very tight fit
compared to other conical ferrules on the market. The wire rope
termination will not get caught during lifting and will simply
slide of an obstacle. This will minimize the risk of accidents. Art. No: TKON 18 – TKON 44 The aluminium TALUKON™ ferrule has been developed to have a very tight streamlined fit around the wire rope after pressing. TALUKON™ splicing system is validated and fulfills the requirements of EN 13411-3. The aluminium ferrule is tapered in a milling machine to obtain the special design and inspection hole. TALUKON™ is available in sizes 18-44, art no: TKON. The ferrules are marked with a batch number and type number. Applications TALUKON™ is tailor made for the lifting gear industry. This is a ferrule with a very tight fit compared to other conical ferrules on the market. The wire rope termination will not get snagged during lifting and will simply slide off an obstacle. This will minimize the risk of accidents. The taper has been designed so it will not get caught when lifting but should slide off, minimizing the risk of accidents. To be noted The inspection hole has been designed so that the exact insertion length can be achieved and verified after the swaging operation. Check after swaging that the wire rope has not slipped while swaging. TALUKON™ is a patented solution: Application no. 09164696.8 Conical ferrule for sling application.
