3-1/2" - 3-5/8" Short Bow Socket for Wire Rope, type of Closed Spelter Socket, long-term durability Wire Rope End Fittings Description Our Short Bow Sockets meet RR-S-550D (type B) requirements and are available for wire rope with a diameter from 50mm to
92mm. Short Bow Socket is a closed spelter socket. The socket is made
from high tensile, quenched and tempered cast steel, with a
different chemical composition and with extremely high mechanical
properties, while galvanization ensures its long-term
durability. Specification
Note: 1. Reference standard: EN 13411-4: 2002, RR-S-550D (type B). 2. The above metioned wire ropes feature 6 x 19 + IWRC, 6 x 37 (a) + IWRC, 6 x 61 (a) + IWRC and 8 x 61 (a) + IWRC construction, with 1770 MPa in tension strength. 3. The wire rope structure, tensile strength and working load limited could be customized according to customer's request. 4. Safety Factor for the wire rope sling is 5:1.
