Principle of CFB-FGD in Flue Gas Circulating Fluidized Bed

1) a method for removing sulfur dioxide in a circulating fluidized bed reactor with calcium-based substances or other alkaline substances as absorbents and circulating bed materials.

2) In the vertical gas-solid two-phase flow system, when SO2 comes into contact with Ca(OH)2 particles in the circulating fluidized bed (gas velocity is 4~6m/s), SOz can obtain a gas-solid sliding speed which is dozens to hundreds of times that of a single particle, thus enhancing the mass transfer and heat transfer rate between gas and solid and gas-solid mixing, thus meeting the requirement of efficient reaction between SO2 and Ca(OH)2.

3) The particles with huge surface area and violent turbulence in the fluidized bed increase the collision between particles, so that the surfaces of desulfurizer Ca(OH)2 particles are continuously updated, and desulfurization ash is continuously recycled, which greatly improves the utilization rate of Ca(OH)2.
