Product Description

1. Introuduction

SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology enables a selective catalytic reduction reaction at a specific temperature range (270-400℃) through the action of a denitration catalyst. In this process, NOₓ in flue gas mixes with ammonia (supplied by the reducing agent system) and undergoes catalytic reaction to generate harmless nitrogen (N₂) and water (H₂O), thereby reducing NOₓ emissions and mitigating environmental pollution from flue gas.

The chemical equations for the selective catalytic reaction are as follows:

4NO + 4NH₃ + O₂ → 4N₂ + 6H₂O
6NO₂ + 8NH₃ → 7N₂ + 12H₂O
NO + NO₂ + 2NH₃ → 2N₂ + 3H₂O

2. Composition of Commercial SCR Catalysts

Currently, commercial SCR catalysts typically use titanium dioxide (TiO₂) as the substrate, with vanadium pentoxide (V₂O₅) as the main active component. Tungsten trioxide (WO₃) and molybdenum trioxide (MoO₃) are added as auxiliary components to enhance oxidation resistance and anti-poisoning performance.
