Mining flotation frother STQ33, amber to dark red oily liquid with small odor, has strong forming ability in flotation process. It has good frother features, such as proper bubble diameters, coalescence rate, and foam layer thickness. The foaming speed of STQ33 in mineral slurry is fast. This product can obviously change the improvement of concentrate grade and recovery rate. It is used in various mineral processing, especially for the flotation process of non-ferrous metal ores and gold mines with high target mineral ratio, also can use in high content of argillaceous gangue, and fine metal embedding particle size. It can effectively substitute foaming reagents from internationally renowned brands.

The original solution of frother STQ33 is added for use, with a dosage of 5-60g/t of raw ore. And the specific dosage shall refer to the actual usage on site.

 

Function of foaming agent:

1. Prevent bubble coalescence easily, so that bubbles dispersed in the slurry have a smaller diameter and a certain lifespan.

2. Increase the mechanical strength of bubbles, not easy to be broken.

3. Reduce the velocity of bubbles and increase their residence time in the slurry.

4. Stable bubbles, their type and dosage affect the size, viscosity, and brittleness of bubbles, and affect flotation speed.

5. Coadsorb with the collector on the surface of the ore particles and have a synergistic effect.

6. Coexistence with the collector in micelles affects the critical micelle concentration of the collector.

7. Foaming reagents can be used to emulsify or accelerate the dissolution of the collector.

8. It can increase the selectivity of the flotation process.
