3.The MoSi2 rod heating element temperature can be 1700℃ and 1800℃ 

The features of MoSi2 rod heating element:

1.Under the high temperature condition ,the MoSi2 heating element can be oxidized fastly,the MoSi2 heating elements surface will form a compact quartz film layer .Which can provent MoSi2 heating element from further oxidizing .We can supply you two kinds of MoSi2 rod max temperature can be 1700°C and 1800°C

2.Our company can produce two types MoSi2 rod :ST-1700 and ST-1800,which can heat furnaces to 1600°C and 1700°C seperately.Because of the fetures of MoSi2 rod heating element ,it is not available to used in 400°C- 700°C for a long time .Otherwise ,it will be powdered and damaged due to strong oxidation in low temperature.

Our MoSi2 rod parameters

The MoSi2 rod heating element installation and using notice:

1.MoSi2 rod is brittle in room temperature ,and plasticity in high temperature ,so the customer would better hang and erect U shape element vertically.
2.MoSi2 rod should be protected against damp during storing or installing to ensure performance of element
3.The cone -part of element need to extend inside the furnace .And be carefully that don't screw MoSi2 too tightly .When furnace temperature is heating up ,then twist it tight.
4. In order to be sure of well-distributed load of each and groups, rod should be divided before assembling.
The tolerance of the resistance of each one cannot exceed by 10% each other.
5.When operating the electric furnace at the beginning, the voltage should be increased slowly and cannot be fully loaded at once. Otherwise the larger current will be resulted in the damage of heater.
6.When MoSi2 rod is damaged and need to be changed ,please operate carefully.
