Brief Introduction

Q-Switched Nd: YAG Laser Therapy Systems is a precise medical instrument, which can only be used in medical application. The system has gone through strict safety test. Standard operation will not bring about malfunctions. Therefore, for the safety of operator and patients and avoidance from being injured by laser radiation, please carefully read this chapter and relevant connects in other chapters. Q-Switched Nd: YAG Laser Therapy Systems belongs to Class 4 laser product.

The operator shall be very careful in using this equipment, which belongs to Class 4 laser product, so as to avoid danger. Any inflammable goods should be absolutely kept away from laser beams!

Contraindications

In clinical treatment, patients with following conditions are not allowed to take the treatment unless the impacting factors are eliminated.

Patients with endocrine disorder, cicatricial physics, damaged or infected skin andpigmentation idiosyncrasy.

Patients partially being applied with corticosteroid hormone in 2 weeks or having retinoid drugs in half a year.

Patients with active tuberculosis, hyperthyroidism and failure of heart, liver and kidney.

Light sensitive skin disease and photosensitivity drugs users.

Patients in pregnancy or suckling period.

Patients having dermatoma, cataract and aphakia or being treated with radiotherapy or isotope therapy.

Patient with history of melanoma, serious light injury and having taken ionizing radiation or arsenicals.

Patient with weakened immune system.

Patient with blood coagulation disorder.

Patient of mentally disorder, psychoneurosis and epileptics.
