Automatic Tonometer  measurement, also known as pneumatic intraocular pressure measurement, is a method of measuring intraocular pressure without direct contact with the eyeball. In the examination, the gas pulsed force in the instrument flattens a specific area of the cornea center, and the relationship between the force required and the intraocular pressure is used to calculate the intraocular pressure examination method. The gas impulse force has a linear increasing relationship with the duration of the impulse, and the intraocular pressure value is indirectly converted by the duration of the impulse force. This measurement method is simple, fast and basically correct.

Automatic Tonometer utilizes image control and feature recognition for auto 3-D positioning of xyz with reliable judgment and measurement results, and easy to operate. The air non-contact approach to measure IOP can also be used for corneal thickness (ST-1000P).
