1. Polyester warp knitted fabric has high strength. The short fiber strength is 2.6 ~ 5.7cn/dtex, and the high strength fiber is 5.6 ~ 8.0cn/dtex. Because of its low hygroscopicity, its wet strength is basically the same as its dry strength. The impact strength is 4 times higher than that of nylon and 20 times higher than that of viscose fiber.

2. Polyester warp knitted fabric has good elasticity. When the elasticity is close to that of wool, it can be almost completely restored when the elongation is 5% ~ 6%. Crease resistance is superior to other fibers, that is, the fabric does not wrinkle and has good dimensional stability. The elastic modulus is 22 ~ 141cn / dtex, which is 2 ~ 3 times higher than that of nylon.

3. Heat resistance of polyester warp knitted fabric polyester is made by melt spinning, and the dimension of the formed fiber is heated and melted again. It belongs to thermoplastic fiber. The melting point of polyester fiber is relatively high, but the specific thermal void and thermal conductivity are small, so the dimensional heat resistance and absolute heat resistance of polyester fiber are higher. It is the best of synthetic fibers.

5. Good wear resistance. The wear resistance is second only to the best nylon, which is better than other natural fibers and synthetic fibers.

6. Good light resistance. Light resistance is second only to acrylic fiber.

7. Corrosion resistance. Bleach, oxidant, hydrocarbon, ketone, petroleum product and inorganic acid resistant. Resistant to dilute alkali and mildew, but can be decomposed by hot alkali. There are also strong acid and alkaline resistance and UV resistance

The fabric made of ordinary polyester filament has the advantages of good strength, smooth and crisp, easy washing and fast drying, but it has some disadvantages, such as hard hand feel, poor touch, soft luster, poor air permeability and moisture absorption. If compared with silk fabrics, the gap is too large, so we must first imitate silk in the silk thread structure in order to eliminate the disadvantage of poor wearing performance.
