What is TIJ inkjet printer?

TIJ inkjet printer is simply what we often call hot foaming inkjet printer.

Hot foaming inkjet printer is easy to operate, convenient to install, powerful in inkjet printing, capable of inkjet printing real-time data, bar codes, two-dimensional codes, databases and other contents, and powerful in editing, capable of editing up to 8 lines, surpassing 99% of small character inkjet printers.

Simple structure, generally composed of three parts: host, power supply and nozzles. No filter, cleaning and maintenance are needed. Multi-head code spraying can be realized. Up to 24 nozzles can work at the same time, and other colors of ink can be changed at any time, such as black, yellow, red, blue and white.

Introduction of working principle of thermal foaming: Using thin film resistor, the ink is instantly heated (instantaneously heated to above 300℃) in the ink ejection area to form numerous tiny bubbles, which are gathered into large bubbles and expanded at an extremely fast speed, forcing ink droplets to be ejected from nozzles to form required characters, numbers and bar codes.

If the bubble continues to expand, it will disappear back to the resistor; When the bubble dies, the ink in the nozzle shrinks back. Then, surface tension will generate suction, and then new ink will be drawn to the ink ejection area to prepare for the next circular jet printing.

Simply analyze the advantages of TIJ inkjet printer

First, seal the ink cartridge. No leakage and waste, pay more attention to cost control, so that customers can save the purchasing cost of consumables to a greater extent during use.

Second, no solvent is needed. Compared with the traditional small character or large character inkjet printer, the cost generated in the use process is lower, which is more conducive to the printing and use of mass products.

Third, the equipment does not need maintenance, and the maintenance and use costs are low. Around the use process, TIJ inkjet printer does not need common maintenance, only needs to replace the new ink cartridge when the ink cartridge is used up, which greatly reduces the difficulty of operation and use by customers, reduces the technical requirements for production line workers, and is simpler and more practical.

Analysis of disadvantages of TIJ inkjet printer

First, the printing distance is high. Generally, it is required that the distance between the nozzle and the product should be controlled within 5mm, so as to achieve the best spray printing effect.

Second, the ink used is selective to materials. This is also a concern and headache for many manufacturers, such as clarity, adhesion, permeability, etc. Generally, TIJ inkjet printer is applied to permeable materials such as paper, plastic, metal and cloth.

Third, the cost of consumables is on the high side. A box of ink cartridges is 42 ml, with smaller capacity, and the relative price is more expensive than the ink of small character inkjet printer.
