This would be a great winch for a boat, and is easily mounted using 3 bolts. This winch has a 40 : 1 ratio, making it pretty easy to turn even under a heavy load. Maximum limit is one ton. I recommend keeping some grease on the bushings and on the worm gears. Easier turning, and extended life.
