Ergonomic Anatomic Oral Nasal Nylon Flocked Tube Sample Swab
Throat Specimen Collection 1. Touch the swab tip to the tonsil area. 2. Rub the swab tip quickly and firmly over this area to obtain a good sample. 3. Remove swab from mouth (without touching any surface). 4. A gag reflex reaction is very common when a good sample is obtained. 5. It is recommended that the swab specimen be processed as soon as possible after collection. Usually applied to PCR test kit or rapid test kit According to different supporting products, swabs can be applied to
different scenarios. If it is used with the diluent, it is used for
rapid antigen detection, and with the virus preservation solution,
it is used for PCR detection.
Instruction 1. Remove the swabs from its package. 2. Ask the patient to open their mouth and vigorously rub the
inside of each cheek and over the gums of the test subject for 30
seconds. 3. Air dry the swab for 3 minutes. 4. Snap the swab at the break point to fit in tube and screw the
cap tightly. 5. Label with appropriate patient information. 6. Place specimen in the biohazard bag and seal bag.
