Description:

DC53 steel is a new cold die steel modified from SKD11/D2. Its technical specification is set out in The Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) G4404.It overcomes the weakness of SKD11/D2 in high temperature tempering hardness and toughness, and will replace SKD11 completely in general and precision mold field.Its toughness is twice that of SKD11, and the toughness of DC53 is more prominent in cold mold steel. The tools made with DC53 seldom appear cracks and cracks, which greatly improves the service life.

Heat Treatment:

Forging temperature: 1100~900℃

Heat treatment temperature:

Annealing 830 ~ 880 ℃

Quenching of 1000 ~ 1040 ℃

Low tempering temperature 180~200℃

Annealing temperature is 520~530℃
