▶ The structure of the GYTC8S53 optical cable is to put 250μm optical fibre into a loose sleeve made of high-modulus material, and the loose sleeve is filled with waterproof compounds. The centre of the cable core is a metal reinforcement core, and the loose sleeve (and filling rope) is twisted around the centre reinforcement core to form a compact and round cable core. The cable core is made of a layer of plastic coated aluminum strip (APL) longitudinal wrapping to extrude a layer of inner sheath. After the double-sided plastic coated steel strip (PSP) is wrapped vertically, the outer sheath is extruded into a cable, which is integrated into an 8-shaped polyethylene sheath with a steel wire strand
