Product Description:
The structure of GYFTY is to sheath 250μm fiber into a high modulus loose tube (PBT). The tubes are filled with a water resistance filling compound. A fiber reinforced polymer wire (FPR), sometimes sheathed with polyethylene (PE) for high fiber count cable, locates in the center of cable as a strength member. PBT tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into acompact and round shape. The gap between the tubes is filled with water blocking compounds. Then the cable is completed with a PE heath.

Characteristics:
■ Good mechanical properties and temperature characteristics.

■ The loose tube material itself has good hydrolysis resistance and high strength.

■ The tube is filled with special oil paste to protect the optical fiber.

■ Good compression resistance and flexibility.

The following measures are used to ensure water resistance of GYFTY non-armoured cable: Single non-metal core reinforcement. The loose tube is filled with special waterproof compound. Complete cable core filling.
