Shafts are made of alloy steel. Bearings are roller ones. The drum is LEBUS grooved. Both high speed and low speed ends are equipped with ventilating air clutches. The main brake is band brake or water/air cooled hydraulic disc brake. The auxiliary brake is water or air cooled eddy current brake or Eaton Brake. Chains are pressure lubricated and bearings are greased.
