What kinds of silicone gaskets are there?

1.  Solid siliccone gaskets: Solid silicone gaskets are manufactured from continuous roller plates or moulded plates through die cutting or water cutting.Solid silicone rubber offers A wide range of hardness from 10-70 hardness in the Shaw A scale.Low hardness silicone gasket (10A, 20A, 30A) provides good environmental seal with relatively low closing force.Higher closing force is required for solid gaskets with higher hardness range in the medium term.These are commonly used metal housings or rigid housings with the appropriate bolt pattern to compress the firm gaskets appropriately.

2.  Sponge silicone gaskets: sponge silicone gaskets become softer than solid silicone gaskets.The hardness of silicone sponges is usually reduced by 25% by the PSI definition of force deflection (pounds per square inch).A compression force of 2 to 5 pounds is considered soft, while 14 to 20 pounds is considered firm.Its closed-pore structure makes silicon sponges an excellent choice for environmentally friendly seals such as the NEMA 4 and IP64 and IP65.Silicone exhibits good uv light by nature and is stable over a wide range of high and low temperatures.

3.  Silicone foam gaskets: They are usually made of platinum vulcanized liquid silicon and projected onto a smooth pad to give them a smooth skin.The silicone product can be used for dustproof seals or impact/vibration washers.Gaskets made from organosilicone foam will be considered to be resistant to both high and low temperatures. Due to the mechanical stability of siloxane, organosilicone is also very stable at extreme temperatures and UV temperatures.

4.  Injection silicone gaswasher: Liquid silicone rubber is molded by LSR injection equipment with A hardness of 10~70 (Shao A). The cross section can be made very small with high precision.Food-grade silicone gaskets and washers can be used for daily waterproof sealing and preservation of crisper, rice cooker, water cooler, thermos, water cup, oven, coffee pot, etc.The medical level LSR can be applied to the field related to human tissues.
