Guyed tower is composed of tower head, column and guyed line. The tower head and column are generally composed of space truss composed of angle iron, which has good overall stability and can bear large axial pressure. Its stay wire is generally made of high-strength steel strand, which can bear large tensile force. Therefore, the stay wire tower can make full use of the strength characteristics of materials and reduce the consumption of materials. However, due to the large area of Guyed wire, it is not conducive to machine farming, so it is less used.
In terms of shape, guyed tower can be divided into "up" shape and cat head shape with triangular arrangement of conductors, door type and V-shape with horizontal arrangement of conductors, and inner guyed door type tower with longitudinal self-supporting.
