1. Product Features

• This product is used as adhesion and sealant for solaode module outline border and junction box;

5．Pretreatment procedure of adhesive surface

• All the surfaces must keep clean and dry, clean out the grease and contamination that have bad effect on adhesive surface. The solvent applicable include propel alcohol, or methyl ethyl ketone.
• Adhesion with some certain kind of plastics need to use special surface treatment. For example, adhesion with polypropylene and polytetrafluoroethylene need chemical corrosion or plasma-treatment, therefore it can reach optimal adhesion.

6．Instructions

• Apply SMG533 neutral sealant on the pretreated surface, cover the another cover instantly.
• When exposed to moisture at room temperature and 50% relative moisture, the surface of sealant would cure in crust in 10 to 15 minutes. Before curing the residual sealant should be swept out by knife tool ( use blade will sweep out the cure skin easily).

7．Curing Time

After formation of crust, curing process will penetrate into inside sequentially. In 24 hours time (at room temperature and 50% relative moisture), curing thickness of SMG533 neutral sealant is 4.1mm. The deep-seated part, especially the part that has limit contact with air has longer curing time. Similarly curing time would extend in low-temperature condition. We advise the users wait patiently (enough time) to avoid affecting the integrity of the sealant. This time is depended by many factors, it should decided by users (decide through special application of the sealant).

8．Service life and storage

When SMG533 neutral sealant is original biding , kept in shade and dry at the temperature below 27℃, useful life of neutral sealant is 9 months (since product time).

As the result of SMG533 neutral sealant would react with moisture of the air(form curing skin),the sealant must be tightly sealed in containers when not used. Blockage can form in sealant tube or tube end in storage time, it can be clean out easily ,residual component of the sealant won’t change.

9. Precautions

This product is innocuous after curing, but avoid contacting with eyes and children before curing; The work area must keep ventilation state.
