This is a type which is manufactured by pressure casting process. Outer surface of the liner contacts with the engine block and does not contact in direct with the engine coolant. This type of liner can achieve downsizing and weight saving of engines because it can make bore clearance smaller by its thin design. We can also provide you with liners manufactured with phosphate coating for improving abrasion resistance.
