Introduction:
Rain spray test chamber simulates the watet drip environment to
test the water resistance and sealing of the samples during storage, transportation and usage. It is widely
applied to electrical and electronic products, lamps and lanterns,
electrical cabinet, electrical components, automobile, motorcycle
and its spare parts and other products. It provides the basis to
improve the performance of the products.
This product uses the scientific design makes the device capable of
realistic simulation drip, water spray, splashing water,
environmental, water and so on. Into the overall control system and
the use of inverter technology, making the rotation angle of
rainfall in the test frame, spray angle and swing the pendulum
swinging spray volume can automatically adjust the frequency.

Power supply and environmental requirements

1. Power supply: 380V 3-phase 4-wire 50Hz

2. The ambient temperature around the machine is maintained at
+5~+35℃.

3. There must be a water source (ordinary tap water) and a drainage
pipe.

Scope of application

This full product meets GB 2423.38-90 "Basic Environmental Test
Regulations for Electrical and Electronic Products Test R: Water
Test Method", GB/T10485-2007, strictly in accordance with the
low-voltage electrical enclosure protection IPX3...IPX4... level
GB/T4942.2 -93, GB 4208-93, GB 4706, GB 7000 and other
corresponding national standards and technical parameters design
and manufacture of other related standards.

Standard:

Level 0: completely waterproofing without protection

Level 1: Vertical dripping should have no harmful effect

Level 2: When each vertical plane of the case is tilted within the range of 15°, the vertical dripping shall have no harmful effect

Level 3: Water is sprayed within 60° of each vertical plane, without harmful effects

Level 4: Splashing the shell in all directions has no harmful effect

Level 5: Spraying water in all directions to the enclosure has no harmful effect

Waterproof Rating:

IPX-1 Protected against falling water Equivalent to 3-5mm rainfall per minute for a duration of 10 minutes.

Unit is placed in its normal operating position.
IPX-2 Protected against falling water when tilted up to 15 degrees - Same as IPX-1 but unit is tested in 4 fixed positions -
tilted 15 degrees in each direction from normal operating position.
IPX-3 Protected against spraying water - Water spraying up to 60 degrees from vertical at 10 liters/min at a pressure of 80-100kN/m2 for 5 min.
IPX-4 Protected against splashing water - Same as IPX-3 but water is sprayed at all angles.
IPX-5 Protected against water jets - Water projected at all angles through a 6.3mm nozzle at a flow rate of 12.5 liters/min at
a pressure of 30kN/m2 for 3 minutes from a distance of 3 meters.
IPX-6 Protected against heavy seas - Water projected at all angles through a 12.5mm nozzle at a flow rate of 100 liters/min at
a pressure of 100kN/m2 for 3 minutes from a distance of 3 meters.
IPX-7 Protected against water immersion - Immersion for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter.
IPX-8 Protected against water submersion - The equipment is suitable for continual submersion in water under conditions which are identified by the manufacturer.
