Describe:
Drill pipes for HDD applications basically consist of steel pipes
with a pin at one end and a box at the other end. The role of the
drill pipe is to transmit the rotary torque and thrust of the
rotary head of the drilling rig to the downhole drilling tool.
Depending on the application, drill pipes of different diameters
are required. Basically, a smaller DTH hammer requires a smaller
DTH hammer, and vice versa. Usually we provide 50mm, 60mm, 76mm,
89mm, 95mm, 102mm, 114mm 127mm, 140mm, 159mm and so on.
