Connection to the Diagnostic Ultrasound System

1.Connecting the transducer
Turn off the ultrasound machine or switch off the current probe first. Insert the probe plug into the matching port on the machine, then turn the locking handle 90 degrees clockwise to fix it tightly.

2. Disconnecting the transducer

Turn off the ultrasound machine or deselect the probe firstly. Turn the locking handle 90 degrees counterclockwise to unlock, then pull the probe straight out.

Checks before use 

Checks before system power ON

1. Inspect the probe surface, cable cover and connector.

2. Check for any bulges, cracks, peeling or other visible damage.

Checks after system power ON

1. Gently touch the probe acoustic lens to make sure it does not overheat abnormally.

2. Check the 2D image. Ensure no noise, broken display or dark blank areas appear on the screen.
