Description

Main Functions:

- Power Input: Provides a standard three-pin AC power outlet for connecting the power cord.

- Filtering and Interference Suppression: A built-in EMI (electromagnetic interference) filter prevents high-frequency noise from the power grid from entering the ECG machine and prevents noise from the internal switching power supply from being fed back into the power grid. This is crucial for acquiring weak bioelectrical signals (ECGs), effectively suppressing power-frequency interference and ensuring clear waveforms.

- Overcurrent/Overvoltage Protection: May include components such as fuses and varistors to protect subsequent circuits from damage in the event of lightning strikes, power surges, or internal short circuits.

- Power Switching: In some designs, it may also be responsible for switching between external AC power and internal battery power.

When the power interface board fails, common symptoms include:

1. Pressing the power button has no effect, the screen does not light up, and the indicator lights are off.

2. The device turns on and off intermittently when the power cord is moved.

3. Regular 50Hz/60Hz power frequency interference appears in the ECG baseline and cannot be completely eliminated by standard operations (such as pressing the "Filter" button).

4. The power socket has become loose or broken due to frequent plugging and unplugging or external force.

5. If the device still does not power on after replacing the power cord or troubleshooting external issues, the fuse on the board may have burned out.
