Purpose:

- From the motherboard to the screen: The motherboard's central processing unit (CPU) or dedicated digital signal processor (DSP) acquires, amplifies, filters, and digitizes ECG signals from the electrodes. After processing, these digital data packets (containing waveform information, heart rate values, rhythm analysis results, etc.) are sent to the display controller via this cable.

- Reverse communication: Receives user touch commands (such as zooming waveforms, switching leads, and selecting menus) from the touchscreen (if the display is touch-sensitive) and transmits them back to the motherboard for processing.

Transmitted Content:

- Waveform Data: Digital sequences of ECG waveforms for multiple leads (e.g., I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF, V1-V6). This data represents the largest amount of data and requires a high and stable transmission rate without delay or packet loss, which would otherwise result in waveform display distortion or interruption.

- Screen Graphics Data: In addition to the raw waveforms, the motherboard may generate a complete graphical user interface (UI), including grids, characters, buttons, menus, and more. This rendered image data is transmitted to the screen via a video signal.

- Control Signals: Commands for controlling screen brightness, on/off, refresh rate, and more.
