►Brief Introduction

RD SET MD14 Series patient cables are used with RD SET Series sensors.
RD SET MD14 Series patient cables are intended for use only with devices that contain Maximo SET® technology or are licensed for use with compatible sensors. Please check with individual oximetry system manufacturers for compatibility with specific devices and sensor models. Each device manufacturer is responsible for determining whether their device is compatible with each sensor model.
RD SET MD14 Series patient cables are based on proven Maximo SET technology.
WARNING: Maximo sensors and cables are designed for use with devices that contain Maximo SET oximetry or are licensed for use with Maximo sensors.

1. Remove the sensor from the patient and disconnect it from the patient cable.
2. Clean the cable surface by wiping it with a 70% isopropyl alcohol swab.
3. Wipe all surfaces of the cable.
4. Dampen another cloth or gauze pad with sterile or distilled water and wipe all surfaces of the cable.
5. Wipe all surfaces of the cable with a clean cloth or dry gauze pad to dry.
Note
• Do not immerse the connectors on the cable in liquid solutions.
• Do not sterilize by radiation, steam, autoclave, or ethylene oxide.
• Do not use chemicals for cleaning other than those listed above.
