The hemodynamic module includes NIBP, 5-lead ECG and impedance respirometry measurements, SpO2 and plethysmography waveforms, two invasive pressure measurements (IBP1 and IBP2) and two temperature measurements (T1 and T2).

Inside the hemodynamic module there are four parameter boards for processing the measurement signals. Each processing board has a microcontroller with software.

• lNIBP parameter board with pneumatic system, valves and pump unit.

• lSpO2 board for Maximo or Nellcor SpO2 measurements. This is an optional board. It depends on different configurations.

• lGE STP board for SpO2, IBP and temperature measurements. Different boards are used depending on the configuration. Options are:

• STP board

• Nellcor TP board

• Maximo TP board

• GE SpO2 board

• lECG board for 3/5 lead ECG with respiratory impedance measurement function.

All boards are connected to each other via a flexible module bus board that connects voltage and module communications, and the modules communicate with the frame via an RS-485 bus.
