► Brief Description Medtronic Lifepak 20 Defibrillator IrDA Flex Assembly 3200926-004 Medtronic LP20 IrDA Flex Assembly - For high speed wireless communication for data management devices. The OEM W03 IrDA port supports IrDA version 1.1 communications with asynchronous serial rates up to 4 Mbits/sec. The IrDA port is mounted directly to the base housing and the flex circuit is connected directly to the system control PCB. The infrared lens is molded into the front housing of the device, just in front of the IrDA port. The IrDA port and the front housing lens align so that direct communication with a portable data receiver that can be held by the operator or placed on a table is easy. This assembly is used, but is fully functional and is an original product. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

► Remove 1. If the board assembly is not removed, first remove the screws using a 3/32 Torx screwdriver and then disconnect the W03 IrDA flex cable system control board. 2. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the slot between the bottom case cutout and the right side tab. 3. Gently apply pressure to the screwdriver. Bend the right side IrDA tab slightly outward to release the right edge of the W03 IrDA assembly. 4. Remove the W03 IrDA assembly from the bottom case. 5. If the board assembly is still installed in the bottom case, disconnect the IrDA connector from the A01 system PCB.
► Installation 1. Place the W03 IrDA assembly on the bottom case. (The IrDA is located near the center of the bottom case front panel.) 2. Insert a large flathead screwdriver into the slot between the bottom case cutout and the right side tab. 3. Apply gentle pressure to the screwdriver. Bend the right side IrDA tab slightly outward, 4. Press the W03 IrDA assembly down into the tab and release pressure on the screwdriver. The tab will close around the W03 IrDA assembly. 5. Make sure the W03 IrDA assembly is centered between the bracket and the tab. 6. If the board assembly is still installed in the bottom case, connect the W03 IrDA assembly to the A01 system PCB at J08 and secure with the screw using a 3/32 Torx screwdriver. (Otherwise, install the board assembly. The IrDA flex cable can be connected during board assembly installation.)
