When the electric defibrillator handle of the defibrillator malfunctions or does not discharge, check if the machine displays any abnormalities. Be careful when using the defibrillator handle each time
1. Apply the conductive gel evenly to avoid burning the patient's skin and affecting the defibrillation effect.
2. Apply 10-12 kilograms of downforce on each handle to reduce contact impedance and achieve the optimal defibrillation effect.
3. Do not defibrillate the wound or skin ulceration area.
When there is an implanted device in the heart, the defibrillation electrode plate should be kept at a certain distance from it. Do not discharge the defibrillation electrode plate directly on the multifunctional electrode plate and its cable.
Before defibrillation discharge, please remind all surrounding personnel to stay away from the patient.
During the defibrillation process, it is prohibited to come into contact with the bed, the patient's body, or any equipment connected to the patient, as this may cause electric shock.

►NOTES​:

1. Check that the metal surface of the handle is clean and dry. After confirmation, hang the handle back to the host.
2. Start the host and confirm that all the indicator lights of the handle hanging on the host are off.
3. Remove one handle and confirm that a red light on the handle light flashes.
4. Remove the other handle and connect it to make sure the handle lights are all on.
When cleaning, do not soak the equipment. Excess water should be wringed out of the cloth before cleaning, and be sure to prevent liquids from being poured onto the device. Never allow liquid to seep in from the outside of the device. No part of the device (except the sterilizable intrathoracic and external electrode pads) should be ultrasonically cleaned, soaked, autoclaved, or ETO sterilized. ECG cables should not be ultrasonically cleaned, soaked, autoclaved or steam sterilized.
