Specification of DefiMonitor XD

Intended use

The DefiMonitor via the mains. The compact and lightweight design allows you to take the DefiMonitor with you when transporting a patient. In the maximum version, DefiMonitor comprises a defibrillator, ECG, external pacemaker, data logger, pulse oximetry and printer. The device is used to perform transthoracic defibrillations. The main application is defibrillation in asynchronous manual mode, an additional application is the cardio variant of atrial flutter in synchronous manual mode. The decision on the need for a shock can be made by the user in automatic mode or automated in AED mode through the splitter shock recommendation. Automated mode defaults to the first, second, and third shock energy levels with maximum current ratings of 20 A, 25 A, and 30 A, respectively, and capacitor voltage dependent on patient impedance. In manual mode, energy levels from 5-360J can be selected to allow weight-based configuration of defibrillation energy as per clinician experience. Thus, defibrillation of children with the appropriate electrodes is possible in manual mode.
