Zoll M Series Defibrillator Black Encoder Knob Introduction
The defibrillator black encoder knob is a part of a defibrillator machine that is used to adjust the energy level for defibrillation. The knob is black in color and is used to set the desired energy level for the shock that will be delivered to the patient. The knob is an important piece of equipment as it allows the medical professional to customize the defibrillation process to the patient’s needs. It is easy to operate and is designed to be robust and durable for repeated use.
About ZOLL M series defibrillator
ZOLL® M Series® products combine a defibrillator, ECG monitor, advanced monitoring capabilities, and noninvasive transcutaneous pacing (NTP) with communication, data printing, and recording capabilities in a lightweight, portable instrument. The unit is designed for all resuscitation situations and its small, compact and lightweight design makes it ideal for accompanying patients during transport. The product runs on AC or DC power and an easily replaceable battery that rapidly recharges the device when connected to AC or DC power. In addition, the unit's batteries can be charged and tested with the ZOLL PowerCharger system designed for ZOLL standard replaceable batteries. This product is designed for use in harsh EMS and hospital environments. All of its robust and durable features enhance its durability in hospital applications. The device is a multifunctional automatic external defibrillator with or without manual function and can be configured to operate in manual, advisory, or semi-automatic mode. The semi-automatic version of this device has a single front panel with the "ON" position. Traditional hospital units that can be configured for manual, advisory, or semi-automatic operation feature a standardized ZOLL operator interface. When operated in manual configuration, the device functions like a conventional defibrillator, with charging and discharging of the device under the full control of the operator. In prompt and semiautomatic modes, some device functions are automatic and use sophisticated detection algorithms to identify ventricular fibrillation and determine when to deliver a defibrillator shock. The unit can be set to automatically charge, analyze, recharge and ask the operator to "PRESS DISCHARGE" based on local protocol. Pressing the corresponding softkey on the front panel switches the unit from semi-automatic mode to manual mode to use ACLS.
