To test a 50 mm or 100 mm printer:

1. Select PRINTER… from the SERVICE on-screen menu.

2. Select the Start Printing Test Strips option.

3. Check the following test strip properties:

- Large "X" chart printed does not contain missing dots.

- Seven horizontal lines (one very close to the bottom of the page).

- The character set is printed clearly without any damaged characters.

- The vertical line spacing is 25 mm ± 5%. (see TCP - Printers

calibration. )

4. Open the printer door and check that CHECK PRINTER appears on the screen.

6. Select PREVIOUS PAGE to return to the SERVICE / TESTS submenu.

7. Record the results in the PIP's checklist.
