【PRODUCT NAME】 Viral RNA&DNA Extraction Kit 【METHOD】 Spin Column Method Spin Column Viral DNA/RNA Extraction Kit utilizes a unique lysis
buffer to lyse virus and release DNA / RNA. The released DNA / RNA is effectively
purified after specifically binding to a silica-based spin column. It is suitable
for isolating viral DNA/RNA from up to 200 μl of plasma, serum, whole blood, tissue
homogenate, cell-free body fluid, nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal
aspirate/wash, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), tracheal aspirate, sputum, nasopharyngeal or
oropharyngeal swab and animal cell culture supernatant. The isolated DNA/RNA with high
purity can be applied in PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, qRT-PCR, etc. Using classic silica membrane adsorption technology and unique
buffer system, Virus DNA/RNA extraction Kits (spin column) can extract DNA/RNA
from blood, tissue, organs, environmental sample, saliva and nasal sample, and
maximum remove impurities protein and other organic compound impurities.
The extracted virus DNA/RNA can be directly used for downstream applications such
as PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR and qRT-PCR experiment. Viral Nucleic Acid Isolation Kit (Silica-Based Spin Column) is specially designed for efficient purification of viral RNA and viral DNA from cell-free
samples such as serum, plasma, urine, body fluids and the supernatant of viral
infected cell cultures. The sample is lysed by incubation with Lysis Solution. The Lysis
Solution inactivates RNases, ensuring protection of viral nucleic acids against
degradation. The lysed sample is transferred to a spin column where released viral nucleic
acids immediately bind to the silica-based filter in the presence of Binding Buffer.
The remaining contaminants are removed during three wash steps using Wash Buffer,
whereas pure nucleic acids remain bound to the membrane. Pure viral nucleic
acids are released from the spin column filter using Elution Buffer. The
purified nucleic acids are ready-for-use in subsequent downstream applications of

Viral RNA&DNA Extraction Kit (Spin column) The kit utilizes a silica-based membrane technology in the form of a convenient spin column. Viral nucleic acids from lysed samples bind to the column membrane while impurities are effectively removed during subsequent washing and centrifugation steps. Ready-to-use nucleic acids are eluted from the column. The kit allows simplified isolation of viral RNA from cell-free body fluids with a fast spin-column format. No phenol/chloroform extraction is required. Viral RNA binds specifically to the silica membrane while contaminants are removed in the flow-through. PCR inhibitors such as divalent cations and proteins are completely removed in two efficient wash steps, leaving pure viral RNA to be eluted in RNase-free water. Purified RNA is ready to use in RT-PCR, Northern blotting or other downstream applications.

【PACKAGE SPECIFICATION】 50 tests/kit 【INTENDED USE】 This kit is used to extract DNA/RNA from plasma, serum, animal
tissues, body fluids and other samples. The sample is processed by the lysis solution to
release DNA/RNA. At the same time, a special polymer membrane material is used to
selectively adsorb viral DNA/RNA, and then after washing and elution operations,
high-purity viral DNA/RNA can be obtained. The nucleic acid extracted by this kit can
be used for Real-time PCR, Nothern Blot, Blotting Hybridization, cDNA Library
Construction. The kit can be used for both research purposes and in vitro
diagnosis (IVD) and is validated for COVID-19 diagnosis. 【COMPONENTS OF THE KIT】
【STORAGEAND STABILITY】 The kit should be stored at room temperature 5-25℃. The kit is
valid for 12 months. 【Self Provide Materials】 Sterilized 1.5ml centrifuge tube, Sterilized tips of various specifications, centrifuge, absolute ethanol, vortex mixer, etc. 【SPECIMEN REQUIREMENTS】 1. The virus in liquid samples such as whole blood, plasma, serum,
ascites, oral fluid can be directly extracted. 2. The virus in animal and plant tissues needs to add an
appropriate amount of saline or PBS to the sample, grind it thoroughly, centrifuge at 12000rpm
for 5-10 minutes, and take the Supernatant for use 【SPECIMEN EXTRATION OPERATION】 1. Add 300ul of the processed sample to a 1.5ml clean centrifuge
tube (if less than 300ul, please make up to 300ul with PBS or saline), and then add 300ul of
Lysis Solution. Cap the tube and vortex for 30 seconds. 2. Incubate it at room temperature for 10 minutes. 3. Add 200ul of absolute ethanol to the centrifuge tube, cap the
tube, and vortex for 15 seconds. Centrifuge briefly to collect the solution on the tube
wall and tube cap. 4. Put the Adsorption Column into the Collection Tube, transfer the
above mixed solution to the Adsorption Column, centrifuge at 8000rpm for 1
minute, and discard the solution in the Collection Tube. 5. Add 600ul of Washing Buffer I to the Adsorption Column (confirm
that absolute ethanol was added to Washing Solution I before use), centrifuge at 8000rpm
for 1 minute, and discard the solution in the Collection Tube. 6. Add 600ul of Washing BufferⅡto the Adsorption Column (confirm
that absolute ethanol was added to Washing SolutionⅡbefore use), centrifuge at
8000rpm for l minute, and discard the solution in the Collection Tube. 7. Put the Adsorption Column back into the collection tube and
centrifuge at 8000rpm for 2 minutes, discard the solution in the Collection Tube. 8. Transfer the Adsorption Column to a new 1.5ml centrifuge tube,
add 50pl of Elution Solution to the Adsorption Column and incubate at room temperature for 2 minutes. 9. Centrifuge at 8000rpm for 1 minute and discard the Adsorption
Column. The solution in the 1.5ml centrifuge tube contains DNA/RNA. The extracted DNA/RNA can be directly used in Real-time PCR, Nothern Blot, Blotting Hybridization, cDNA Library Construction and other experiments. If you do not use it immediately, please store it at-20℃. 【PRODUCT PERFORMANCE INDEX】 1. The purity:The ratio of absorbance OD260/OD280 is between
1.8-2.2. 2. The precision:The coefficient of variation (CV) of the RNA/DNA
content is≤5%. 【SAMPLE REQUIREMENTS】 • Store at 4°C for no more than 72 hours; at -70°C for long term storage • Avoid repeated freezing and thawing • Swab samples should only be collected with synthetic tip swabs with aluminum or plastic shafts. 【PRECAUTIONS】 1.
