Product Information

1.4507 duplex stainless steel is a super duplex stainless steel. Compared with ordinary stainless steel types, it has excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. Generally speaking, the strength of 1.4507 duplex steel is twice that of austenitic steel. Compared with ferrite and austenitic steel, the corrosion resistance of dual phase steel 1.4507 plate is also very high. Double sided 1.4507 provides the best ductility and toughness. Add a predetermined amount of alloy materials, such as chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen, to make them highly corrosion-resistant. It is designed to have a PREN value greater than 40, which means it has higher resistance to point corrosion than all austenitic steels.
