Functions:

1. Unload the hydraulic cylinder: When the unloading valve is opened, the hydraulic oil is released from the cylinder through the unloading valve to the hydraulic tank, so that the hydraulic pressure in the cylinder is reduced to zero, and the load carried by the hydraulic cylinder is removed.

2. Maintain zero position: After unloading, the hydraulic cylinder will remain in the zero position under no load.

3. Energy saving: After unloading, there is no load in the cylinder, saving the energy for hydraulic oil.

4. Reduce wear: After reducing the load, the wear of the components in the hydraulic cylinder is reduced.
